As a relatively high-end product, the price of ballistic PE panel is higher than that of bulletproof plate made of metal and ceramic lamp composite materials for the same level of protection.

At the same time, the high temperature resistance of ballistic PE panel is poor. When the temperature exceeds 80 ℃, its bulletproof performance will be greatly reduced. Even when the temperature is higher than 150 ℃, the PE bulletproof board will melt. Therefore, spherical PE panel is not suitable for high temperature zone, such as tropical desert. Due to the poor creep resistance of PE material, it is necessary to avoid long time extrusion of spherical PE panel.
