2.UHMWPE

Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber (UHMWPE), as a new bulletproof material, is a ballistic fabric spun from polyethylene with a relative molecular weight of 1 million to 5 million. It is the ballistic fabric with the highest strength and the lightest proportion in the world. Its strength is 15 times higher than that of steel wire, but it is very light, up to 40% lighter than aramid and other materials.

3. Carbon nanotubes

Carbon nanotubes are one of the best ballistic fabrics with mechanical properties found so far. They have very high tensile strength and elongation at break. Its density is only one sixth to one fourth of that of steel. The tensile strength per unit mass is 276 times that of steel. The elastic modulus parameter of carbon nanotubes is 2.4 times stronger than that of Kevlar. As a balistic fabric, the comprehensive properties of carbon nanotubes far exceed any other materials found and manufactured by human beings.
