EOD Bomb Disposal Suit (BDS-KT)
This bomb suit is the advanced equipment for protecting the bomb disposing personnel in various dangerous circumstances due to the explosives. It takes advantage of the world advanced protective materials which are in use in many countries for long time. this bomb disposal suit provides high level of protection against fragmentation and impact and heat, while offering maximum comfort and flexibility to the operator.
The bomb disposal suit is designed with long-sleeve and side-opening. at the front there is the attachment for hard armor plates for enhanced blast protection, by integral pockets with webbing and Velcro securing straps. the pouches for tools and radio are attached to the front and back of the outer cover. the high collar provides overlap protection to the helmet, visor and neck.
The trousers have supporting braces and wide Velcro waistband which are adjustable for different sizes. the groin protector is attached with the trousers, while the foot protectors are an integral part of the trousers and are held in position by Velcro, and webbing straps. all the ballistic Kevlar armors are enclosed in a special waterproof bag.
The bomb disposal helmet is made of coated Aramid shell and is adjustable to fit different sizes. It is equipped with a communication system including headset, microphone, 100-meters cable for communication between the operator and the controller. the anti-blast neck-guard to the bottom front of the Helmet closes the frontal gap between helmet and collar.
Together with the bomb suit, there is a separate cooling suit which is to be worn inside to reduce the heat and increase comfort during the operation.
